eduroam in Europe is managed in each country by its respective national research and education network (NRENs); in Luxembourg, this is RESTENA.

36 countries in Europe take part in European eduroam. The European coordination of eduroam is executed by the GEANT project, and funded by the European Commission in its 7th Framework Programme.

eduroam participation is subject to the service definition as set forth in the European eduroam Confederation Policy. The terms and conditions of eduroam Europe are available here.

eduroam is also present in Canada, the United States of America and the Asia-Pacific region.
